Naperville, Illinois (and area) restaurants
30 miles west of downtown Chicago, the village of Naperville was founded in 1831 by Joseph Naper. Naperville has grown substantially in the last 30 years ago. With this population increase, Naperville's downtown has become a dining destination for people all over the Chicago area, as well as the home of North Central College.
Naperville offers a wide selection of restaurants and dining choices, including Pizza, Chinese and Italian restaurants. Just west of Naperville, Aurora - and particulary the Fox Valley area - has a wide selection of restaurants and dining choices, including Mexican, Burgers and Seafood. South of Naperville, Bolingbrook is a good spot to check out Irish restaurants and desserts.
The Naper Settlement displays historic structures from across the area and serves as a focal point for the Naperville community. The popular Riverwalk in downtown Naperville is a romantic location for a walk at one of Naperville's downtown restaurants as well.
