We recently had dinner at Ted's, for the first time. The food was delicious. The prime rib was cooked as ordered, the au jus was sensational, as was the squash casserole. Two of us had the bison ribs. They were perfectly cooked and flavorful. Aside from having to look for our waitress a few times to get another beer, the experience was good. We thought the food was very good, and will return.

First visit was terrible! We waited 15 min. for waiter to come to the table even though the place was almost empty; it was 5:30 on Sat. night; I ordered prime rib & baked potato. But when the waiter came with our food, he said "the baked potatoes won't be ready for 20 minutes" could you have fries instead? The prime rib was nice, though. My husband really wanted crabcakes, but they only serve them on Fri. After our food arrived, we heard another waiter giving the specials to his table: crabcakes!! We had never been told any specials! A table next to us repeatedly received someone else's food, but only some of their own! Most of the waitstaff was unfriendly, glared at us, acted like we didn't belong. (2 adults, nicely dressed)All in all, an unpleasant visit. The 2nd visit was also bad, for different reasons! Our waiter was much nicer, but often said he would bring us something, then never returned. I asked for a steak knife, never got it; my son needed a drink refill, never got it; we asked for a spoon, never got it!! Several times food was brought to our table that was not ours. And when our food did come, it was BAD. I tried the prime rib again, and it was chewy and tough this time. Both visits the asparagus was so smoky it was barely edible. Desserts are so-so. The strawberry shortcake had rock-hard biscuits in it, and even the children became frustrated and gave up eating it. I really don't enjoy this place!
